F1 Grand Prix Racing Game

There has been a lack of good F1 racing games in recent years but the latest offering from Codemasters should make the waiting worthwhile.

The F1 2010 Motor racing game offers the most realistic car race driving simulation ever available to the general public whilst making the realism changeable to allow enthusiastic computer game players to have an enjoyable experience of the game while keeping it challenging for the more experienced driving game player.

This latest computer and video car racing simulation includes all 19 of the 2010 tracks accurately modelled to give you the chance to drive the same circuits as the current F1 racing drivers.

The developers have tried very hard to give a true feeling of what it is like to race an F1 car in all weathers and on all types of tracks. The cars are modeled on the real F1 cars from 2010 and the abilty to choose your tires to match the conditions at any tme in the race will add something extra to the game.

Motor racing driving games are about as close as most of us are likely to come to becoming a racing driver. Computer simulations give us the opportunity to get a taste of what it must be like to experience all sorts of things that we would never get the chance to try any other way.

It costs millions to put a racing car on the track and I don't think something that valuable will be lent to me to have a go and crash it but I can use a realistic driving simulator and have some of the fun of the virtual experience.

I have seen a few videos of a car journalist being given the opportunity to drive a racing car and usually they find it almost impossible. You have to keep the speed up to make the brakes heat up and work properly but until you get the brakes heated up you can't stop when you get to the corners and even if you could the tires may not be warmed up enough to stick to the track when you try to make the turn.

Fortunately whilst Formula1 2010 has tried to give a full and very realistic experience it also allows you to tone done the difficulty so you get the experience of driving an F1 car without the huge learning curve that is required to be a real Formula 1 race car driver.
